RPOV

It has been two days since you have died in a car accident.  At first, you were furious at the person who caused the crash, but now, you were at peace.  Why bother wasting your life hating that one driver, when there were so many people who were alive that need guidance.

"Angel (Name), you will watch over these three,"  The commander of the Angel Protection League says, pointing to you.  Three people?  An angel getting one person was a huge privilege, but you were getting three!

"But sir, are you sure she can handle three?  She gets arrived-"

The commander cuts the angel off. "I believe that (Name) will be able to take care of these three men."

"They're men?!"  The same angel screeches.  Angels around you start muttering under their breath, casting you looks.  You keep your head held up high; you will not be intimated by them.

"Yes, they are.  Is there a problem with that?"  The commander asks, his voice a deadly murmur.

"W-well, Ms. (Name) was killed by her boyfriend's reckless driving, and she was the one that died,"  The angel says, looking a little embarrassed.

"You should leave that for Angel (Name) to worry about, not yourself.  Now, (Name), do you think you will be able to watch over these men?"  The commander's voice softens a little as he talks to you.

You stand up, startling some angels.  "Yes sir, I am completely ready for this task."  Your voice is calm and clear, unlike what you're like in the inside; inside, you're a little nervous about what will happen.

The commander nods.  "Excellent.  Then you shall start now, if that works.  Unless you might want to bring something with you....?"

Your thoughts instantly go to the necklace your boyfriend had given you, just before you had died.  "There is only one thing, and then I shall leave."

"Good.  You are dismissed,"  The commander says, nodding his head a little.  You bow and walk out of the room.

Outside, angels are milling around, laughing, catching up with what is happening on Earth, or just relaxing on the clouds.  You walk towards your house, and throw the door open.

When you had turned into an angel, you had first seen that your house had turned up in the clouds.  When you walked in, you saw that everything was like where you had left them.  This brought a couple of tears to your eyes; you were alive in your house, without your parent(s) or sibling(s).

When you reach your room, you take out the small jewelry box you had, and open it.  You carefully take out the necklace your boyfriend had given you.  It was a beautiful string of sparkling hearts that were in the color of (Favorite Color).  You slowly clasp it around your neck, relishing in the feeling of the warm metal against your skin.

You snap the lid to the jewelry box close, and walk out of your room.  You silently close
the door and walk down the stairs, your mind focused on the task ahead.

You walk outside, and head straight for the portal to Earth.  "Good morning Ms. (Name).  The commander has told me that you are headed for Earth.  I wish you good luck,"  The woman who helps with opening and closing the portal says, smiling at you.

"Yes, that is right.  I think I'll be fine, but I'm not that sure..."  You bite your lip, a little nervous.

"I'm sure you'll do fine sweetie,"  The woman says, smiling warmly at you.  You smile ruefully at her, and spread your pure white wings out.  You can see the end of your wings at the edge of your eye.  "Ready, go!"  The woman pulls a lever, opening a hole big enough for you to get in.  Clouds swirl below the portal, like cotton candy being whipped.

You take a small breath, before you dive into the portal.  As soon as you hit the atmosphere, you feel your body disappearing a little; the feeling was like someone had cracked an egg on your head, and the liquid had fallen down your hair, towards your legs.

You get past the huge swirling clouds, and now, you can see the sun, casting beautiful rays of happiness towards the Earth.  You speed up by tucking your wings in, dive bombing the ground.

The ground comes rushing up to meet you, and you ease up a little, so you won't go through the ground.  Your feet touch the ground, your white toga-like garment swirling around your body.  You glance around, and notice that you are in the middle of the street, where you had died.

Angels that had visited the Earth had said that you would appear where you had died.  You shiver a little, memories of the crash flying through your brain.

You walk out of the street, even though no one could see you, and you wouldn't get hurt; it was just that standing there, caused pain to flood through your chest and head, where you had gotten hit from the crash.

"I wonder where the men are that I'm supposed to help..."  You mutter, glancing around.  The commander wasn't the most helpful person; he hadn't told you what they looked like.  All you knew was that you would know who they were, when you saw that.

After a while of gazing around like a moron, you let out a slight sigh.  You had just started this job of watching over mortals, and you couldn't find the three mortals you were supposed to watch over!  What a great turnout this happened to be.

"Guess I should look for them on the ground."  Your feet touches the ground, the warmth spreading through you.  You fold your wings back, making the invisibility surrounding you disappear.

You walk towards the center of the town, not really noticing that you were standing out like a sore thumb; everyone else was either wearing their school uniforms, or jeans and a shirt, where as you were wearing a white toga.  Nice going.

You hear whispers around you, but you ignore them, and keep walking.  Why did you care about what the mortals thought of you, when you were dead?

Actually, you might want to blend in with the mortals; it would make your life so much easier.  You race into the nearest store, grab some jeans and a shirt, and race towards the changing rooms.  It takes you a while to actually find something that fits you.  In the end, only a skirt didn't make you look like a slut.

With a soft sigh, you change into your new clothes, grab a purse off of the rack, pay for the clothes and purse, and head back outside.  You now look like a normal human, which feels a little weird to you.

After a couple of seconds of walking around, you have the sense that you are being followed.  You glance behind you, to see no one.  When you turn your head back to the front, the feeling comes back.  A shiver runs up and down your spine, and you pick the pace up.

The person, or people, keep up with you; you can hear the slight sound of shoes hitting the ground behind you.  Calm down, you're just thinking that they're following you, when in reality, they're just normal people walking to something else.  It's ok.  Relax, and take a deep breath.  You slow your pace down, close your (e/c) eyes, and take a deep breath.

Your heart rate slows down, and you instantly feel relaxed.  You glance behind you to see, that no one was following you.  See, just your imagination.  You need to be more relaxed next time!  You scold yourself.

You turn you head back, only to crash into someone.  You fall to the ground, wincing a little as pain spreads through you.  You rub your head, wincing a little.  "I-I'm sorry!  I wasn't looking where I was going,"  You quickly, say wincing even more as pain floods your head.

"No problem chica,"  The person who you rammed into says, his voice a thick Spanish accent.

"Not my way to catch une fille, but I could be wrong,"  Another man says in a thick French accent.

You glance up, your head still throbbing a little, to see three men, staring down at you.  All three of them looked so different; one had icy blue eyes and blond hair, where the only one had light green eyes and light brown hair, and the last one-which was the most surprising- had white hair and bright red eyes.  You instantly turn cold and distant; men only caused trouble.  "I must be going,"  You say stiffly, before standing up, and brushing your skirt off.  Before you can leave, one of the men grabs your arm.  "Let me go,"  You say, your voice hard as ice.

The man you grabbed you, is the blond, who jerks his hand back, like you burned him.  "Why don't you spend time with us?"  The brown-haired man coaxes.

"Sorry, but I have something important to do,"  You say, turning around.

"That's more important than spending time with ze awesome me?"  The white-haired man asks, jumping in front of you.  His voice had a slight German accent.

You raise your eyebrow slightly.  After a moment, you say, "Definately more important."

The other two men snicker under their breath, trying hard not to burst out laughing.  "Aw, come on frau, you know you want to spend time with ze awesome me,"  The German man says, pouting slightly.

"No, I seriously don't.  Now please, leave me alone,"  You say stubbornly, turning around to walk away.

"Well, then leave us something to remember you by.  What's your name chica?"  The Spanish man asks.

You pause a little.  Would it really be that bad if you told them?  You turn around slightly, your body diagonal from theirs.  "(First Name)(Last Last),"  You say, hoping that they wouldn't know that you died.

The three men blink slowly, registering what you said.  "If that's all, then I would like to leave."  You turn around, and as quickly as you can, walk away from the three men.

FPOV  (Francis' POV)

"Er....  Wasn't zat dead girl's name?  Am I just imagining it?"  Francis asks slowly.

"Something is going on...."  Antonio says, rubbing his chin.

"Ze awesome me says we should go after me,"  Gilbert says, already walking away from his friends.

Francis and Antonio shrug at each other, before racing after Gilbert.  ("Name") walks down the street, looking a little lost.

The three boys hide behind a pile of boxes, not really helping with the hiding idea.  Girls who pass them, giggle and point at them; it would be pretty funny to see three cute guys hiding behind a dirty stack of boxes.

"Last time I checked, dead people can't come back to life....well, other then the zombies that took over the world,"  Antonio says thoughtfully.

"Not really helping," Francis hisses.

"Maybe it's her twin sisters or something...."  Gilbert whispers.

"Why on Earth would her 'twin sister' have the same name as her?"  Antonio demands, raising one of his eyebrows.

"Parents could have been not as awesome as ze awesome me,"  Gilbert says, sticking his tongue out.

"Pay attention!  Both of you!"  Francis snaps, smacking them both on the head.  The two boys grumble under their breath, rubbing their head.  "So what do we know?"

"People who have died can come back to life apparently,"  Antonio says calmly.

"Actual facts,"  Francis says, narrowing his eyes.

"Ok, seems like the girl who died came back to life,"  Gilbert says, shrugging a little.

"That's just what I said, but in different words!"  Antonio says, throwing his hands up in the air.

"Sh, shut up for a second mon ami,"  Francis hisses.  The three boys glance up from the stack, to see what ("Name") is up to.

She glances around, looking even more confused than ever.  Finally, she takes a left, looking like she's biting her lip.

"Come on, or we're going to lose her,"  Gilbert whispers.

Quietly, all three boys sneak out from behind the stack of boxes, and around the corner.  The end of ("Name")'s skirt disappears around the corner.  But as soon as the three boys go around the corner, she's not there.

"What the-"

"Where'd she go?"

RPOV

"That's what you get for stalking me,"  You hiss, sticking your tongue out at the three boys, looking puzzled as ever.

You had known that they would have followed you when you had told them your name.  It had seemed like they had known who you were.

Your legs hang over the edge of the building, your white wings out.  You had brought your wings out just in time; the boys had rounded the corner just as you got to the top of the building.

I guess I'll have to be more careful from now on,  You think to yourself, sighing a little.  I'm going to have to call in the commander to take their memories away.  Peachy...  You groan to yourself.  Your first mission had become a failure.

You glance down in the alleyway, to see the boys still looking for you.  "Why are they still looking?"  You muse to yourself, cocking your head a little.

"....took her,"  You hear the brown haired boy say.

"I'll chalk that up as your other hair-brained ideas Toni,"  The silver haired boy snorts.

"Ok, then what happened to her?"  The boy, Toni, demands.  The silver haired boy shrugs and stuffs his hands in his pockets.  "Francis?  Any ideas?"

Francis, the blonde, shakes his head.  "It iz a myztery,"  He says.

The boys keep on bickering at each other, but you get a little bored with this.  You slowly got up, and snuck away, like a ninja.

As soon as you hit the ground, your wings had disappeared, and now, you were just a normal teenage girl, who had apeared out of nowhere; you know, the usual.

You keep walking, wondering where you could call your angel commander without attracting too much attention.  Finally, you decide on going to an abandoned house, which you had made into your clubhouse.

You open he door, memories hittingyou in the face.  Everything was where you had left it, last time you had come here; dust had collected on the tiny couches, dolls were leaning against each other, some only had one eye, where others look like they had gone through World War II.  You take out a mirror from your pocket, and flip it open.  You press the pad of make-up in the middle, and light shines up.

The commander shows up, looking exhausted as ever.  He glances up at you, rings under his eyes.  You're about to ask him why he looks so tired, when you're only been on Earth for an hour, when you remember that time in the clouds is quicker than on Earth.

"Ah, Ms. (Name), how is Earth?"  He asks, putting his fists on his chin.

"It's.... just like it always is,"  You finally say, after pausing a little.

"Ahuh,"  He says, narrowing his eyes.  He gives you the I-know-that-you're-lying look.

You know that it's hopeless to keep lying, and you finally blurt out, "Ok, so I told some humans my name."

"Oh (Name)...."  The commander rubs his temple looking even more exhausted.

"I know I mess up, and I kind of need you to help me....."  You say quietly, shrinking back.  "I kind of need you to take away their memories."

The commander lets out a strained sigh.  "(Name), if I have to come down there, then you won't be able to have another mission, ever."

You pause a little, thinking it over.  "W-what if I tried to figure this out?"

He nods a little.  "Then you can keep doing missions."  You nod, your shoulders haunched over.  You hear him sigh a little.  "Listen,(Name), I know that this is your first time, so I'll cut you some slack.  I'll send over Josh to help you."

You relax a little, and smile.  "Thank you commander."  You snap the make-up copmress, and let out a strangled sigh.

Looks like the angel now needed saving.

And this is what I've been working on this whole time. Tried to make it a one shot, but it didn't work. :XD:

Oh well!

Not much to say here, except I'm off to bed~

As always, enjoy, and tell me any mistakes I made.
